Produced by the UW Health HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Care Program, Positive Exchange is a newsletter about HIV/AIDS for and about people in the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC) system - those who are incarcerated and staff alike.

As the name suggests, this newsletter is a place for inmates, particularly those living with HIV/AIDS, and DOC staff to share perspectives and get information in a way that is useful and productive.

Heidi Nass, the editor of Positive Exchange and a lawyer turned HIV/AIDS activist who works as an educator in the HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Care Program, says of Positive Exchange, "It is my personal hope that this newsletter will also be a place where people living secretly with HIV/AIDS can find some comfort in the stories of their peers and learn things about this disease that help them live with it as fully and responsibly as possible."
