Women's Heart Health Program
The mission of UW Health's Women's Heart Health Program is to increase awareness and reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease in women through screening, community and provider education and preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Our program is uniquely tailored for women with a wide range of heart care needs. We provide general cardiovascular and preventive cardiology care for women with known heart disease and those who are at high risk for the development of heart disease.
Women with diabetes, high blood pressure and high blood cholesterol, women with a family history of heart disease or stroke and women with heart disease can all find help through the Women's Heart Health Program. The Stroke Clinic at UW Hospital and Clinics also offers comprehensive treatment, from risk identification through rehabilitation.
