One of the primary goals of UW Health Heart and Vascular Care is to work closely with local, community-based physicians to enhance patient care in their own communities.
This collaboration between community physicians and Heart and Vascular Care specialists at the University of Wisconsin enhances the delivery of quality care throughout southern Wisconsin. In addition, Outreach Services provides direct access to University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics services.
University of Wisconsin Heart and Vascular Care specialists travel to local communities to provide on-site care close to home. Working in collaboration with local hospitals and clinics, our specialists can provide many special services, exams, and tests including:
- Outpatient consultations and follow-up care
- Inpatient consultations
- Electrocardiograms and Holter monitor interpretation
- Exercise and non-exercise stress testing
- Nuclear scans
- Emergency cardiovascular care and Med Flight transport to UW Hospital and Clinics
