We offer an ideal setting for residents to develop the knowledge, skills, competence and confidence needed to assist them in reaching their career goals.
UW Hospital and Clinics residencies offer many advantages, including:
- Experience in an organization recognized nationally for patient care and safety at both departmental and organizational levels
- Participation in a pharmacist clinical practice model in which pharmacists are integral members of the health care team
- Access to academic medical center resources - the Health Sciences Learning Center and UW School of Pharmacy are readily accessible
- The opportunity for teaching involvement, including a teaching certificate program for residents
- Access to the progressive Drug Policy Program and Pharmaceutical Research Center

Pharmacy Residency Programs
Up to 19 pharmacy residents per year are trained at UW Hospital and Clinics in the following programs. Select from the following residencies to view more information about the program and to learn how to apply. At this time, we do not have a need to sponsor visas for our residency programs.
