Paramedic Training

Two 48-hour Paramedic Refresher Courses will be presented by the UW Health Emergency Education Center.

The first class is January 28, February 18 and March 10, 2012. The second class is April 14, May 5 and May 19, 2012.

These courses also will include 24 hours of independent study. Class times are 8:30am-5:30pm at the UW Health EEC, 330 University Ave., Suite 300, Madison.

The UW Health Emergency Education Center also will present a Critical Care Transport Course. The course is every Thursday and runs from January 5 through March 22, 2012.

The UW EEC also is in the process of conducting an 80-hour online pilot CCT course. Upon completion of this course, a comprehensive review will be performed with Wisconsin DHS, EMS Section to determine if future courses will be offered in this format.
