UW-Milwaukee
Go to: www.uwm.edu/chs
Under "Select a Career Description," select "Diagnostic Medical Sonographer."
Our program is a full-time didactic and clinical education program: students should expect to spend a minimum of 40 hours per week in class or clinical rotations from 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. We do not offer part-time or evening education.
Enrollment is limited to a select number of qualified applicants. The academic year runs from September through August. The program does not maintain a waiting list for admission and interested applicants must reapply each year.
International Applicants
All interested parties who meet our application prerequisites are welcome to apply, however non-U.S. citizens are required to have a visa to enter the United States. Since you must be pursuing a baccalaureate degree or post-baccalaureate education in sonography through UW-Milwaukee in order to be eligible for our program, their Center for International Admissions can advise you on the process of obtaining a student visa to attend UW-Milwaukee.
