Program outcomes assessment is ongoing in an effort to assure that the program is meeting its prescribed level of quality and student success.

Results are reported to the JRCERT and published annually. Outcomes from the past five years of program assessment are published in the table below.

* Explanation of Statistics for Program Effectiveness Data: The numbers listed in parentheses represent the sample size for each calculation.

  • Program Completion Rate: The number of students completing the program within 150% of the stated program length compared to the number of student initially enrolled in the cohort. For UWHC School of Radiologic Technology, 150% of program length = 36 months.
  • ARRT Exam Success Rate: The number of graduates who pass the credentialing exam on 1st attempt compared with the number of graduates who take the exam within six months of graduation.
  • Job Placement Rate: The number of graduates employed within 12 months of graduation compared to the number actively seeking employment in the radiologic sciences. (Note: The number actively seeking employment can vary from the number of actual graduates due to military deployment, continuing of one's education, etc., as those individuals may not be actively seeking employment in the radiologic sciences.)
