UW Hospital and Clinics Earns $25,000 Gift of Inspiration

The $25,000 award is intended to enhance health care environments and inspire ideas that will enrich the lives of caregivers and care recipients.

 

Exterior of American Family Children's HospitalNational understands the current economy makes it more difficult than ever to raise the necessary funds to offer the best in care and healthy environments for both patients and providers. Therefore, they introduced the $25,000 Gift of Inspiration to benefit health care organizations. With the donation, UWHC’s Health and Healing Committee plans to enhance their healing program.

A soothing, conscious healing environment plays a vital role in recovery and a lifetime of well being,” says Ardis Hutchins, a UW Hospital and Clinics interior architect.

National Office Furniture is a Jasper, Indiana-based manufacturer of high-quality office furnishings. This is National Office Furniture's second Gift of Inspiration recipient. In October, 2009, Southwest Middle School in Savannah, Georgia won the Gift of Inspiration for Education Environments. National received more than 1,000 registrants from health care organizations nationwide for the $25,000 Gift of Inspiration.
