A patch program for girls to love their hearts
As part of Girl Scouts' 2008-2009 Healthy Living theme, UW Health Heart and Vascular Care is offering the Go Red Girl Scouts Patch Program.
The program seeks to bring Girl Scouts and the women they love together to raise awareness of the danger of heart disease.
Our mission for the Go Red Girl Scouts Patch Program is to help girls love their hearts, make healthier choices and empower women they love to do the same.
Getting Started
The patch activities, events and online resources below teach girls how to keep their hearts strong. Check them out - Go Red For Girls! Go Red For Women!

This patch program springs from a UW Health Heart and Vascular Care partnership with the American Heart Association to bring the national Go Red For Women Campaign to a local level. Together, we can raise awareness of the risk of heart disease as the No. 1 killer of women.
