To change the alarming statistics about heart disease in women, UW Health Heart and Vascular Care has joined the American Heart Association as its exclusive Madison-area partner to encourage more women to "Go Red" for their own heart health.
Exercise plays a big role in heart health for women. To that end, UW Health is publishing a series of simple stretching and band exercises that anyone can do in the comfort of their homes. All you need is a little space, an exercise band, a chair (for a few of the exercises) and the motivation to live a heart-healthy lifestyle.
