Chicken Bowl
A popular dish from a well-known fast food restaurant gets a heart-healthy make-over with this recipe. It's a great way to use up left-overs. Either serve up for guests, or let them dish it out themselves.
Ingredients
Olive oil mashed potatoes (See Recipe)
Roasted Corn (See Recipe)
Chicken Nuggets (See Recipe)
Herbed Brown Gravy (See Recipe)
One ounce of finely shredded 75% reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese (made with 1% milk)
Instructions
Prepare the recipes above. In individual serving bowls, place a 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes. Next add 1/4 cup of roasted corn, followed by chicken nuggets and then approximately 1 tablespoon of gravy. Top with the shredded cheese.
