There is no open enrollment for Income Continuation Insurance.
You may apply for ICI at anytime throughout the year (your application will be subject to medical underwriting) by submitting an evidence of insurability application directly to ETF. Please contact Human Resources to obtain an underwriting application.
Annual premium update:
If you are currently enrolled in this benefit, your premium will be evaluated each year in January, based on your earnings and sick leave balance/usage from the previous year.
The premium update that will take place in February 2013 will evaluate sick leave usage from 12/18/2011–12/15/2012. The premium update that will take place in February 2014 will evaluate sick leave usage from 12/16/2012–12/14/2013.
You will receive information from Human Resources in mid-January 2013 regarding any changes to your benefit or premium amount that will take effect in February 2013.
