Susan Dondlinger, NP, is a nurse practitioner at UW Health. She treats a wide range of rheumatologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, Lupus and Sjogren disease.
Often, new patients have been living with rheumatologic conditions for a long time and have tried unsuccessful treatments before finally seeing a rheumatology specialist. Susan reassures these patients that they are now in the right place to get the answers and care they need.
Susan listens carefully to people’s symptoms and past treatment experiences, and partners with them to create a personalized plan to best manage their condition. She takes a holistic approach to care and guides people toward lifestyle changes that can help them improve function and feel better.
Outside of work, Susan stays active skiing, golfing, running and snowmobiling. She also enjoys sewing and reading.
I try to improve people's functioning and overall well-being and to decrease pain and disability.
