Russell Lemmon, DO

About

Russell Lemmon, DO, is a family medicine doctor at UW Health. He treats patients of all ages with a variety of conditions and performs well-child checks and preventive care. He has a special interest in integrative health, lifestyle medicine, and caring for patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

Dr. Lemmon enjoys the challenge of primary care. He understands that no two patients are alike and may experience the same disease differently. Using a patient-focused care philosophy, he tailors treatment plans to each person. Dr. Lemmon enjoys building relationships with his patients, getting to know them, and using that information to help them achieve their health goals. He strives to help his patients understand their diagnosis and feel comfortable with their treatment plan.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lemmon is an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health where is research has focused on integrative approaches to pain.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Lemmon enjoys being outside, biking and playing with his children.

One of my biggest roles is helping patients feel comfortable at their appointment so we can make it a productive and enjoyable visit.
