Faculty, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public HealthRita Lloyd, MD earned her medical degree from the University of California in Irvine and completed her residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. After 10 years in private practice, she joined UW Dermatology.
Dr. Lloyd's area of subspecialty expertise is allergic contact dermatitis. She runs the Contact Dermatitis Clinic, investigating the cause(s) of rash due to exposures in the home and the workplace. She serves on the board of the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Her clinics are directed toward diagnosing and treating all types of dermatitis, and include several teaching clinics with resident and medical student learners.
