He completed his internship and residency at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals and his cardiology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and echocardiography. Dr. Hughes is a clinical cardiologist who enjoys patient care and helping educate the next generation of physicians. Areas of interest and expertise include acute coronary syndromes, congestive heart failure, hypertension, valvular heart disease and adult congenital heart disease.
