Michael Ford, MD

Michael Ford, MD, is an anesthesiologist at UW Health and an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. Ford provides anesthetic management for surgical and invasive procedures.

Skilled in acute pain management and optimization, Dr. Ford uses a wide variety of techniques and procedures, including ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and analgesia, multimodal analgesia and peri-operative medicine.

Dr. Ford is well respected by his peers for his work. In 2022, he was awarded the Wisconsin Society of Anesthesiologists (WSA) Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes exceptional service and commitment to patients and field of anesthesiology.
