About

Michael Tuite, MD, is a radiologist at UW Health. He evaluates extremity and spine images to diagnose and treat complex diseases and injuries. He specializes in sports injuries and shoulder imaging.

Dr. Tuite interprets tests such as computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), X-rays and ultrasounds. Working with a team of specialists, Dr. Tuite also performs interventional procedures using minimally invasive technologies to manage inflammatory diseases, spine injuries and joint disorders.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Tuite is a professor and vice chair of clinical operations, musculoskeletal imaging and intervention in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. His research interests include sports injury imaging and techniques to identify injuries on imaging tests.

In his free time, Dr. Tuite enjoys swimming and playing golf.

I appreciate the opportunity to provide accurate imaging interpretation for a variety of specialists treating complex or challenging conditions.
