About

Loyda Braithwaite, NP, is an oncology nurse practitioner at UW Health. She specializes in treating patients with breast cancer.

Loyda cares for her patients throughout every stage of their illness — from diagnosis to treatment and into survivorship. She believes the hallmark of good care is truly listening. When she understands what the patient and their family are experiencing, she can provide the individualized care that fits them best. Loyda feels honored to walk with patients through their difficult journey. She strives to empower patients with the knowledge they need to take part in making care decisions.

Outside of work, Loyda enjoys traveling. She also loves spending time with her family, including her husband and their two young daughters, who inspire her to be her best.
