Lori Oettinger, NP earned her degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is dedicated to providing individualized, compassionate care to patients in general dermatology. Her areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the early detection and treatment of skin cancers, general skin examinations, acne, warts, rosacea, and eczema and dry skin care. Patient education regarding self skin exams and skin care is also a main interest that she tries to incorporate into every patient visit.

|At UW Health, nurse practitioners work together on teams with physicians to provide direct medical care to patients of all ages across primary, specialty, hospital and long-term care settings. A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse with a master's or doctorate degree. They have advanced education, training and certification in the diagnosis, management, prevention and treatment of common and complex medical conditions. Nurse practitioners are also referred to as advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) and advanced practice providers (APPs).
