About

Laura Guse, PT, is a physical therapist at UW Health. She is part of a neuro rehabilitation team providing physical therapy to patients who have neurologic conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis (MS) and vestibular (brain and balance) disorders.

Laura’s advanced training includes board certification as a neurologic clinical specialist (NCS), and she often works with patients who require advanced physical therapy after inpatient rehabilitation for neurological injury or illness.

Her goal is for patients toreturn to their prior level of function after neurological injury or illness. She has a special interest in helping people regain function and mobility after a life-changing incident such as a stroke or spinal cord injury.

In her free time, Laura enjoys knitting, sewing and staying active to remain healthy and fit.

My patient care philosophy is to help people be as independent as possible for as long as possible.
