Dr. Noonan’s clinical specialties include all aspects of pediatric orthopedics, especially scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis and other pediatric spine deformities. Spinal techniques include spinal fusion, growing rods and titanium rib lengthening. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Noonan has served on numerous committees of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, and is also a fellow of the Scoliosis Research Society. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics, the Journal of Orthopedic Trauma, and Spine. He has authored dozens of journal articles and book chapters. He has been a visiting professor at many universities in the U.S. and abroad.

Dr. Noonan’s research interests have included the closed treatment of hip dysplasia as well as clubfoot casting and deformities of the hip and spine in adults with cerebral palsy.
