Dr. Noonan earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa, and his pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Fla.

Dr. Noonan's clinical specialties include all aspects of pediatric orthopedics, especially scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis and other pediatric spine deformities. Spinal techniques include spinal fusion, growing rods and titanium rib lengthening.

He is a member of many honorary societies, including the American Orthopaedic Association and the prestigious International Pediatric Orthopaedic Think Tank.

He is active in leadership positions within the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Noonan has been identified in many "Who's Who" lists of medical practitioners.
