Katie Akre has a bachelors of science in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and seven years of oncology nursing experience at UWHC. During that time, she saw how Healing Touch helped her patients cope with their cancer diagnosis and treatment on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. Katie is a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and an Oncology Certified Nurse.
