Julie Hajewski, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who cares for adults with acute (sudden) and chronic (long-term) health conditions.
Julie diagnoses and treats a wide range of health concerns and helps patients manage chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol. She has a special interest in providing care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and assisting patients and their families with advocacy issues.
Dedicated to providing holistic care, Julie addresses patients’ physical and mental health needs. Her goal is for all patients to be healthy, happy and able to do the things they want to do. She practices open communication and shared decision-making and personalizes care to each patient’s individual needs. When needed, Julie collaborates with other professionals to ensure her patients are fully supported in their health journeys.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, camping and exploring the state.
I enjoy caring for people and helping them feel better so they can live their best lives.
