Jennifer Lochner, MD, is a family medicine doctor at UW Health and an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She treats a range of acute and chronic conditions and provides preventive care and wellness support for patients of all ages and genders, including nonbinary and transgendered patients.
Dr. Lochner offers comprehensive care for all of her patients’ needs, from common infections, injuries and illnesses to chronic conditions, like asthma, heart disease and depression. She also performs minimally invasive in-office procedures and provides a full range of women’s health care. As needed, Dr. Lochner collaborates with other departments to address complex needs such as cancer care and conditions requiring surgery.
As an advocate for all people, Dr. Lochner helps patients manage their health in ways that work best for them. Whether she is providing preventive care or helping someone manage a lifelong condition, Dr. Lochner always takes time to listen to her patients’ concerns and prioritize their goals.
Outside of work, Dr. Lochner enjoys reading, knitting and outdoor activities like hiking and biking.
I enjoy helping people explore their personal health goals and understand their conditions so they can make choices that are right for them.
