About

Jamie Limjoco, MD, is a UW Health Kids neonatologist and serves as the medical director of the American Family Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the executive medical director of pregnancy and newborn care.

Dr. Limjoco treats infants with complex medical and surgical conditions. These include premature birth, heart or brain defects, lung disease, seizures and other conditions.

In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Limjoco is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology and Newborn Nursery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Her research interests include using telemedicine and advanced technologies to guide early care for critically ill infants and improve neonatal care and outcomes.

In her free time, Dr. Limjoco loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys intense workout challenges, tending to exotic plants, traveling to different countries and learning about other cultures.

In my field, it’s important to be able to juggle many things at once, while also recognizing what a privilege it is to care for such fragile and special babies.
