Dr. Tefera specializes in all aspects of vascular surgery, but has particular interest in minimally invasive vascular interventions including stent grafts for aortic aneurysm treatment as well as percutaneous treatments of carotid arteries and vascular diseases of lower extremity.

Dr. Tefera is principal investigator in multiple multi-center clinical trials that pretest the efficacy of new devices and techniques in the treatment of Abdominal and Thoracic Aneurysm. He is also principal investigator in the clinical trials to evaluate carotid artery stenting. |
