About

Ellen Reyerson, NP, is a UW Health Kids pediatric nurse practitioner. She treats children who need surgery for a variety of issues, including appendicitis or infections.

Ellen specializes in treating chest wall deformities. These deformities are caused when the breastbone pushes into or outward from the chest.  She also has a special interest in children with complex feeding issues and provides care for children with intestinal failure.

Ellen treats both simple and complex conditions. Some complex conditions might require multiple visits. Ellen values having a good relationship and open communication with her patients and their families. She wants them to feel comfortable enough to openly share their thoughts and ask any questions.

In her free time, Ellen loves being outdoors. She swims and coaches her kids’ sport teams, and loves to ski and snowshoe in the winter. She also enjoys reading, shopping, DIY projects, and dogs.

My hope for every one of my patients is that they can have a good experience at our hospital and enjoy having normal, healthy lives as kids.
