Dr. Sadowski joined UW Health in 2001 as a fellow in Abdominal Imaging and stayed on as faculty in the division after her fellowship. She is a world-renowned expert in female pelvic imaging, leading a charge to improve gynecological cancer outcomes through imaging in women around the world. She also has a passion for mentoring junior faculty, fellows and residents in their careers and is actively involved in the Office of Faculty Development at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Sadowski’s research interests are non-invasive, functional MR imaging of gynecological cancers to improve the detection, pre-treatment assessment and post-treatment monitoring of women with gynecological malignancies.Her work has helped generate research funds to support multiple functional MRI research groups, all of which focus on developing techniques for assessing the kidney and gynecological cancers.
