Dr. Dan Lebovic is an associate professor in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is the medical director of Generations Fertility Care and is board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Lebovic earned his medical degree from George Washington University and completed his fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Lebovic specializes in female infertility, endometriosis and recurrent pregnancy loss.

Dr. Lebovic's primary research centers on the immunobiology of endometriosis. He is conducting basic science, animal model and clinical trials in novel treatments for the disease. In particular, he is investigating the utility of using thiazolidinediones in endometriosis in addition to participating in an international multi-center study on the health economics of the diagnosis and management of endometriosis. The hope is that such a medicine could be useful both for treating endometriosis-induced pains as well as allow women to conceive. |
