Research

Dr. Lebovic's primary research centers on the immunobiology of endometriosis. He is conducting basic science, animal model and clinical trials in novel treatments for the disease. In particular, he is investigating the utility of using thiazolidinediones in endometriosis in addition to participating in an international multi-center study on the health economics of the diagnosis and management of endometriosis. The hope is that such a medicine could be useful both for treating endometriosis-induced pains as well as allow women to conceive.
