About

Christopher Healy, MD, is a UW Health allergist and an associate professor in the Division of Allergy, Asthma and Rheumatology within the Department of Pediatrics and the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine within the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Healy cares for patients of all ages who have asthma, chronic respiratory disease, chronic hives, allergic skin conditions and allergies to medications, food and venom.

Dr. Healy looks at his patient’s symptoms and asks questions to help identify the cause. He also uses allergy testing to determine if a reaction is caused by certain products, medications, foods or the environment.

Dr. Healy believes strongly in patient education. He strives to help his patients and their families understand their condition and what factors may trigger a reaction. By talking with his patients and understanding their goals and objectives, he can develop treatment plans that are personalized, realistic and will provide the best results for an improved quality of life.

In his free time, Dr. Healy enjoys participating in his children’s activities, reading and exercising.

My hope for my patients is that they have a good understanding of their condition, their questions have been answered and they have a treatment plan in place to improve their quality of life.
