Christopher Turner, MD, is an anesthesiologist and the director of perioperative services at UW Health and a professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
With a special interest in neuroanesthesia, Dr. Turner provides expert care for patients who are having brain or spinal column surgery. He assists the surgeon and works to keep patients comfortable and safe before, during and after a wide range of procedures, including spinal fusion, tumor removal and surgical interventions for epilepsy and other movement disorders.
Dr. Turner and his colleagues work to maintain their expertise in the latest advancements in neurosurgical techniques, including the best ways to monitor patients during surgery.
