About

Christine Zimmerman, MD, is a pediatrician at UW Health and an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Zimmerman specializes in the care and treatment of young patients from birth to early adulthood. As a general pediatrician, Dr. Zimmerman performs well-child visits and treats a wide range of illnesses, injuries and chronic conditions. In her practice, she manages young patients living with asthma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety and depression, autism, developmental delays and genetic conditions, obesity and many other issues.

Dr. Zimmerman entered pediatrics to help children grow up to be healthy, happy and reach their full potential. Believing that high quality care is a team effort, she takes time to listen and explain.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Zimmerman enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, cooking, listening to music, watching TV and movies, and – no surprise for a busy doctor – napping.
