About

Blythe Gage, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner.

Blythe cares for people in the hospital who have blood diseases. These diseases include blood cancers (such as leukemia and lymphoma), aplastic anemia (when the bone marrow does not make enough new blood cells to help the body work properly), and other immune system or genetic disorders.

Blythe listens to her patients’ concerns and works to help them understand their medical conditions and treatment options. To control or cure these blood diseases, Blythe’s patients may undergo bone marrow transplants — also called stem cell transplants. These procedures replace damaged bone marrow stem cells with healthy stem cells that can rebuild the patient’s bone marrow.

During her free time, Blythe enjoys spending outdoor time with her family, biking, hiking camping and boating.

I enjoy serving patients. We use advanced treatments to control their blood diseases and help them live healthy lives.
