About

Ashlyn Brigham, LCSW (she/her), is a UW Health licensed clinical social worker who provides mental health therapy for adults dealing with anxiety, depression and perinatal (occurring before, during and after pregnancy) mood disorders.

Ashlyn specializes in women’s mental health issues related to pregnancy and the postpartum period. With a passion for helping families, Ashlyn helps mothers, and their partners adjust to the stress and responsibility of caring for their newborns. She enjoys seeing them through this transitional and often challenging stage of life.

Her other special interests include helping clients cope with mental health issues surrounding infertility, the adoption process, pregnancy loss, newborn loss, and extended stays in the NICU (newborn intensive care unit). Ashlyn is open to working with all types of diverse family systems, including LGBTQ+.

Caring for people with mental health issues during and after pregnancy is meaningful because it benefits the client now and is a first step in the long-term support of children and families
