About

Dr. Ann Sheehy joined the Section of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor in 2005. She received her M.D. and M.S. degrees in Clinical Research from the Mayo Medical School and Mayo Graduate School, respectively, in Rochester, Minnesota, and served her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Sheehy conducts public health research in the area of diabetes screening practices/undiagnosed diabetes, and care of inpatients with hyperglycemia both with and without diabetes mellitus. She is a member of the Residency Oversight Committee, Operations Committee and is the leader of the Research Domain.
