Dr. Girma Tefera feels as if he's won the lottery, because he has the ability to make a difference in people's lives. Born in Ethiopia, he believes in giving back to his homeland. He does so by recruiting other surgeons to join him on missions to Ethiopia, to help teach doctors there to perform surgery and take care of the many sick. Here, in Wisconsin, his greatest joy is "giving patients back their lives."
