Recognizing all those affected by cancer during lung cancer awareness month, the UW Carbone Cancer Center, Gundersen Lutheran and the Lung Cancer Alliance are pleased to welcome Lori Hope, author of "Help Me Live: 20 Things People With Cancer Want You to Know" Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011.

 

Hope, a lung cancer survivor and acclaimed author of cancer patient support books, will speak about how to best support people rendered especially vulnerable by cancer or other life challenges.

 

The event starts with a reception at 6pm, followed at 7pm by Hope's presentation and a Shine A Light glow-stick ceremony. There is no charge to attend, but space is limited to the first 200 attendees.
