Sponsored by the UW Health Movement Disorders Program, this free seminar series features topic experts addressing questions about movement disorder-related subjects. Presentations are open to all patients, family members or anyone wanting to advance their knowledge about these medical conditions. Light refreshments will be provided.
This month's presentation is by Donna L. Weihofen, RD, MS, UWHC Nutritionist, and JoAnne Robbins, PhD, CCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist and Board Recognized Specialist/Swallowing. People with movement disorders often have difficulty with chewing and swallowing. Meals can be a negative experience, so come and learn about ways to improve them even with swallow issues.
