Macular Degeneration Symposium: Innovations 2012

Admission is free, but you must pre-register to reserve your seat for the symposium and a box lunch (if desired). You can register online at www.wcblind.org or by calling 800-783-5213. The registration deadline is Oct. 12 or when seating capacity is reached (seating is limited to the first 1,000 registrants).

 

Additional Information: Parking is free at the Alliant Energy Center. Reserve your healthy box lunch (cost: $9–$12) when you pre-register online, or purchase snack items from the concession area during the event.

Learn more about the latest advances in, and treatments for, macular degeneration, presented by the University of Wisconsin Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and the Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired.

 

Ophthalmologists from the University of Wisconsin and UW Health Eye Clinics and an expert panel of speakers will discuss important issues, skills and solutions for those facing vision loss due to macular degeneration. Also, visit exhibitors to see the latest in video magnifiers, computer aids and other resources to help manage progressive vision loss.
