The screenings, which typically take less than 10 minutes, will be offered Friday, April 26 from 10am-1pm in private exam rooms at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.

Registration will be located in the second floor atrium outside the main entrance of the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Clinics and the UW Carbone Cancer Center.

• Advance registration is not required
• Screenings will come on a first-come, first-served basis
• Parking passes for the hospital parking ramp will be validated for participants

Hundreds of people have been checked for oral and throat cancers since the annual free screenings began in 2007 in conjunction with Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week. Just last year, 156 people took advantage of the screening by doctors and nurses from the UW Carbone Cancer Center and ENT Clinic.
