The Dance Marathon is an annual, high-energy, 15-hour event, from sundown to sunup organized by the Wisconsin Dance Marathon, a student-run philanthropy group on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, working to raise money for American Family Children's Hospital.
During the Marathon participants dance, enjoy entertainment and free food, and remember the kids that they are pledging to support.
The event begins at 6pm, Feb. 18 and continues until 9am the next morning. Participants will dance to modern hits, old-time classics, and country; live entertainment by local performers; and lessons in ballroom dancing
