Diagnosing Pediatric Migraine


Pediatric neurologist Carl Stafstrom developed a simple tool to aid in the diagnosis of migraines. He asks his young patients to draw what their migraine headaches feel like. His five-year study showed the drawings were 90 percent accurate in diagnosing migraines as opposed to tension headaches.
