This class will explore how meditative movement can increase awareness of the body, the mind, our interactions with others and our environment. Embodied, present moment awareness in the midst of movement is the single most important aspect of this practice.
Come ready to experience the sensations of your body through Mindful movement in relationship to sound, space and others, as well as with curiosity to explore the mental and emotional relationships that reveal themselves through a movement meditation practice. This course will enhance your Mindfulness practice and assist you in applying Mindfulness principles to daily activities, interactions and the "orchestra" of moments that daily life offers. This course is designed for those who have completed the basic Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction beginning level course or who have been introduced to Mindfulness.
