Masters Swim

The Masters Swim programs are designed for swimmers who want to improve the swimming portion of their triathlon or for recreational swimmers looking for a challenging workout. Since most triathletes struggle with the swim portion, biomechanics of the crawl stroke (Freestyle) is the primary focus. Practices are structured around freestyle technique and endurance swimming sets. The strokes will be broken down through corrective drills to help improve overall efficiency. Endurance and speed sets follow drill work, geared to challenge each swimmer in the water.

  • Early registration is Aug. 15-18 (re-enrollment in current classes only)
  • Preferred registration is Aug. 19-21 (current class participants and Fitness Center members)
  • Open registration begins Aug. 22 (open to anyone)
