Dietitians and nurses will help you learn how to develop healthy ways of living with diabetes. Topics include how to develop healthy lifestyle habits, diet tips, long-term complications pertaining to diabetes, and how to survive the grocery store.

Through this comprehensive six-week course, participants will:

  • Learn how to eat, not how to diet
  • Discover how to change your attitudes
  • Learn to free yourself from the diet cycle
  • Manage your eating and exercise behaviors
  • Discover how to stop "sneak" eating
  • Identify triggers that lead to excessive eating
  • Put body size in proper perspective
