Champions for Children
What is Champions for Children?

Champions for Children is for people who realize that youth is a precious commodity and that a child's health should be cherished, preserved and, in the unfortunate event of illness or injury, restored with the finest care available - the kind of care American Family Children's Hospital promises to provide.

Through Champions for Children you can support key programs at American Family Children's Hospital by creating your own Web page, telling your own story and reaching out to your friends and family.

Who is a Champion for Children?

American Family Children's Hospital is immensely grateful to anyone who devotes their own, personal time to helping our worthy cause. And using the First Giving Web site is an easy, quick way to start your own fundraising campaign. Once you've committed to the task, we suggest you set a fundraising goal. Perhaps a $1,000 goal would get you going, but we encourage you to establish and work toward any goal with which you are comfortable.

Champions can easily create personal Web pages and describe their reasons for supporting the Children's Hospital, as well as post a photo they want published on their page. The First Giving site takes care of the rest, including collecting and tracking all pledges and providing avenues for Champions to contact friends and family members for donations.
