Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth
Sponsored by the Wisconsin Alliance for Fire Safety, the Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth provides children and young adults with severe burn injuries the opportunity to have fun with their peers and engage in outdoor activities while learning new skills and building self-esteem.
Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth offers a unique camping experience to children and young adults ages 7 to 17 who have sustained severe burn injuries. This specialized camp is designed to help children transition into a new life beyond their injuries as they make friends and enjoy fun summer activities with others in their age group.
The wide range of camp activities includes boating, hiking, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, sports, motorcycle rides, and more.
The UW Health Burn Center proudly affirms the Burn Camp's goals and program.
