The UW Health Breast Center is committed to helping all patients improve their breast health at all stages of life.
Chemotherapy for Treatment of Tumors
Chemotherapy has been shown to be an effective treatment for many patients with progesterone- and estrogen-receptor negative tumors.
Our Quality Measures
The table below displays the percentage of female breast cancer patients 18 years old or older for whom chemotherapy is considered or administered within four months (120 days) of diagnosis for treatment of progesterone- and estrogen-receptor negative tumors. The diagnosis is a first diagnosis of breast cancer (epithelial malignancy) at AJCC stage T1c, or Stage II or III.
Note: 87.9 percent of the patients in the sample below received chemotherapy.
