Volunteering at the Children's Hospital
American Family Children's Hospital volunteers generally work one shift per week, typically three to four hours per shift. To volunteer at the Children's Hospital you must be at least 18 years of age. Teens ages 16 and 17 may volunteer during the summer session only.Please refer to the links below for further information about American Family Children's Hospital volunteer positions.
Volunteers must be able to commit to at least one full semester at a time. For this reason, all volunteers who are students will only be taken at the beginning of each volunteer session (January, May and August).
Non-student volunteers may initiate the volunteer screening and placement process any time of the year but must still be able to commit to at least 12 weeks at one time.
